William Burl Williamson was born on July 25, 1951 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Cecil and Leo (Cacy) Williamson. Burl passed from this life on June 12, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Burl spent his childhood in both Hanna and Dustin. He attended school in Dustin, and graduated from Dustin High School. He went on to go to school to become a respiratory therapist and he did this for quite some time, before going into the oil field.

Burl spent his later years in Weleetka, where he enjoyed living a quiet life.

Burl was preceded in death by his parents; Cecil and Leo Williamson; his partner of 30 years, Wilma 'Gabby' Branum; an infant son, Jeremy Scott Williamson; daughter, Kelly; brothers BC Williamson and Ray Williamson; and his sister, Rinda Smith.

Burl is survived by a daughter, Nikki; sister, JoAnn Brown; brother-in-law David Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation for William Burl Williamson will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Spradlin Memory Chapel at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.

Rev. Don Williamson will officiate.
