William "John" Morse, 81, of Wetumka, Oklahoma took his place with the Lord on October 6, 2021. He was born May 4, 1940 in Paris, Texas. After completing high school, he joined the United States Army, serving our country for four years. John worked for American Airlines for 20 years where he retired, but did not take well to the slower pace, and went back to work with Estes Freight Lines as a truck driver for the following 18 years.

After leaving the work force for the final time, he continued his passion of raising Semi-Angus cattle in Paoli, OK, while attending the First Baptist Church of Paoli for 11 years, ultimately ending up in Wetumka, OK. John loved his ranch, working his cattle, and spending time hunting and fishing his land with his son and grandkids. He was the youngest in his family and found great joy in talking with and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, John David Morse, and two grandchildren, Colton David and Jaden Lynn Morse of Newcastle, Ok. His sisters, Ruth Bain of Citrus Heights, CA, and Martha and Frank Prock of Sulphur Springs, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Angie Morse and sister, LaVaun Reilly.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Paoli, OK, Wednesday, October 13 ^th , 2021 at 2pm.
