Wayne was raised in Hanna and attended Oak Hill School through the 10 th grade. He married Billie Jean Guinn on August 3, 1945. They were happily married a little more than 60 years until she was called home to the Lord.
Wayne served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II and later worked as a security guard at Tinker Air Force Base, where he was frequently called to inspect accidents because of his great ability to attend to details.
