Obituary

Warren G. Bogle was born December 17, 1923 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Taylor E. Bogle and Minnie (Branch) Bogle and passed from this life at his home near Hanna on December 22, 2016 at the age of 93.

Mr. Bogle was raised the Hanna in what is commonly known as Bogle Holler. He attended school at Oak Hill. On June 6, 1945 he was married to Dormi Lee Guinn and they made Hanna their lifelong home. He had worked for the Hanna School system and spent over twenty years working for McIntosh County, retiring when he was sixty-two. Regardless of where he was working he also raised cattle and grew a large garden. He was a long time Mason and a former member of the Hanna Board of Education.

He preferred being outdoors and loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed running dogs, whether he chased wolves, coon, birds or squirrel. Later in life he began to hunt rabbits with his beagles. Whether he was successful hunting or not he loved hearing the dogs "sing". He was a hard worker and judged a man's character by how hard he worked. He was a man of faith and was baptized last summer in a creek in Bogle Holler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughters Yvonne DeGraffenreid and Lanna Flud, sons-in-law Doug Flud, Mike Pendley, and Steve Fisher, a daughter-in-law Eva Bogle, a granddaughter Faith, and three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: 4 daughters, Virginia Bratton and husband Larry of Mustang, Ima Fisher and Rhinard Speir of Holdenville, Rathine Pendley of Hanna, and Lisa Rodebush and husband Matt of Eufaula; 4 sons, Larry Bogle and wife Mickey, Keith Bogle, and Randy Bogle all of Hanna, and Kenny Bogle and wife Janet of Henryetta; 2 brothers, Wayne Bogle of Oklahoma City and Pat Bogle of Oakdale, California; a sister Irene Roland of Oklahoma City; 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
