Virginia 'Ginger' Stafford was born on June 17, 1958 in Bakersfield, California. Ginger passed from this life on May 6, 2025 in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Ginger was a hardworking woman. She was a single mother to six kids. She worked as a receptionist for many years before eventually becoming a self-employed house keeper.

Ginger enjoyed doing yard work. She liked going to the casino (especially Eagle Mountain in California). She loved taking care of her animals. Most of all, she enjoyed spending all the time she could with her family. She was very proud of all of her children and grandchildren. She spent her last months reading the Bible with her daughter, Brandee and her son, Scotty. She liked to listen to worship music. She also enjoyed making crafts with Brandee.

Ginger was always looking for laughs. She would say some of the goofiest things. She had a heart of gold. Genuinely a beautiful person inside and out. She would have done anything for the people that she loved.

Ginger's children would like to acknowledge her sister, Brenda, for her willingness to help and support Ginger when she needed it. An acknowledgement also goes out to her twins. Ginger was very close with her youngest daughters, and spent a lot of time with them. She found much comfort in being around her children and grandchildren.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Francis Smith; brothers, Terry Smith, Randall Smith, and Michael Smith; as well as one sister, Margo Berool.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa Smith, Mark Stane, Scott Sparks, Jerrad and Yesenia Fowler, Brandee 'Nicky' Smith, and Breanna Thayer; grandchildren, Carson, Annie, Mark, Asher 'Bubbies', Adalynn Mae, and Alyvia 'Livy'; as well as many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
