Sherrel Dean Brownlee was born July 6, 1944 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Samuel and Jaunita Harrison Brownlee and passed from this life June 19, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 74.

Dean was raised in Okemah and attended the Okemah School. As a young man he worked in the Oklahoma oil fields as a drilling rigger and he honorably served his country in the Oklahoma National Guard. On August 5, 1977 he married Sherri Kingston and they made Weleetka their lifelong home. He loved the oil field work he did and is remembered as a devoted son and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister JoAnn Cooper and two brothers, Jerry and Jimmie Dale Brownlee.
