Shellia was born in McKinney, Texas, to Mary L. Tadlock Lawless and Virgin Edwin Lawless. Shellia went home to be with the Lord on April 29 at 7:45am.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother; four sisters; one daughter; and one great-granddaughter. Shellia spent most of her time as a housewife. Shellia has been a wife to Jack Hobbs, Sr. for 42 years. She has a daughter, Rebecca DeCastro, and her husband Larry DeCastrof Chesnee, SC; a daughter, Mary Deaton, and her husband Ray Deaton, of Wetumka, OK. A daughter, Cheryl Summers, of Dallas, TX. A daughter, Rebecca Fouse, of Commerce, TX. A son, Jack Hobbs, Jr., of Springtown, TX; and a son, James Hobbs, and wife Crustal Hobbs of Weatherford, TX.

Shellia has 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Shellia loved going to the lake and fishing. She was an animal lover, but most of all she loved her family.

The family is having a celebration of life in memory of Shellia Kay Hobbs on May 3rd at the Wetumka Community Center, in Wetumka, Oklahoma around noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
