Shane Ray Anderson was born on August 21st, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shane is survived by his father, Ray Anderson and his step-mother, Felicia Anderson, of Wetumka, Oklahoma; his mother, Janie Thomas of Moffat, Colorado; his sister, Amy Walton, of Texarkana, Texas; his niece, Tia Walton, of Texarkana; and by his many uncles, aunts, and friends in Oklahoma.

Shane graduated from Wetumka High School in 1987. After graduation he moved to Tulsa and attended Spartan School of Aeronautics, completing the required courses and training to receive his pilot's license. Shane served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1991 to 1995. Shane moved to Colorado in 1999 where he worked several jobs: hauling hay, delivering money from the Federal Reserve to the Mints across the country, and Saguache County Road & Bridge. Shane moved back to Wetumka in 2013 and worked for Dish Network installing satellite receivers. Shane spent the remainder of his life with his family in Oklahoma.

A memorial service will be held at the graveside in Wetumka Cemetery on Friday, December 16 at 2:00pm.
