Ricky Ray Romo of Dustin, Oklahoma was born on March 2, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Jim and Annie (Kilkus) Romo. He passed away on July 11, 2026.

Ricky made his living as a landscaper and he was an outdoorsman in the truest sense. Ricky always loved hunting, especially deer and elk, and he was an avid gun collector. He was also a talented and skilled musician and he played the guitar, the bass, the saxophone and the banjo. He put those skills to work and played in a country western band for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Terri; his children: his daughter Jeanie and husband Clifford, his son Tony and wife Kristy, and his son Joey and wife Amanda; Ricky had ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; he is survived by two siblings; other family; and many friends.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents; by five siblings; and other friends and family who now receive him into their company again.A memorial service in Texas is currently being planned. 

Visitation will be held at the Spradlin Memory Chapel at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in Wetumka, Oklahoma on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 2:00pm til 4:00pm.
