Noah Tiger was born June 30, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Orville Tiger and Nancy Hicks, and passed from this life December 10, 2020 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

Noah attended school at Jones Academy in Hartshorne, and later obtained a certification as a diesel mechanic in Okmulgee. He lived and worked for a time in Oklahoma City, primarily as a plumber. After his wife, Lillian Tiger, passed away, he moved from Oklahoma City back to Shawnee. Noah enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. He was an avid OU and Pittsburg Steelers Fan.

Noah Tiger is preceded in death by brother, Lloyd Hicks, and sister, Verlayne Gambler.

Noah Tiger is survived by his children: Danny Tiger of Okemah; Wayne Tiger of Okemah; Verlayne Tiger of Wewoka; and Rhonda Harjo of Wewoka. Noah is also survived by his brother, Roy Hicks, of Guthrie, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Noah Tiger will be held Tuesday, December 15 from 9:00am until 3:00pm at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home. Visitation at Hillabee Indian Baptist Church will begin at 4:00pm on December 15. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16 at 1:00pm at Hillabee Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Lowe and Rev. Legus Harjo officiating. Interment will follow at the Jackson Family Cemetery in Vernon, Oklahoma.
