Mary May Bristow came into this world on May 31, 1943. She was born in the Coldwater/Flint Michigan area to her father Oscar Augustav Johnson and her mother Agnes Lucy Johnson-Higley. Mary Bristow passed away August 1, 2021 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Mary was a caretaker. She ran a boarding house, worked at a hospital, and she was a homemaker. She married her husband, Eugene Bristow Sr. on Valentine's Day in 1969.

Mary loved puzzles, especially crossword puzzles. She loved sewing, knitting, and being there for others. She loved her kids and was there for them when they needed her.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Agnes and Oscar Johnson, by her sister Anne Cleverly, by her daughter Deborah Dunn, by her son Josh Bristow, by her husband Eugene Bristow Sr., by her daughter-in-law Charlene Bristow and her sister-in-law Carol Johnson.

Mary is survived by her son Eugene Jr. of Wewoka, her daughter Rita and her husband Scott Beene of Tulsa, by her three brothers, Per, James, and Warren Johnson. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mary Bristow will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, August 7 th , at New Life Church in Wewoka with Rev. Eugene Bristow officiating, assisted by Tommy Azlin.
