Martha Ruth Radford, age 87, went to be with the Lord August 22, 2026.

Martha was born November 10, 1938, in Oklahoma City to Virgil Darrell Dunn and Stella Carter Dunn.

Martha attended school at Council Hill for 11 years until she married her life-long husband, James (Dennis) Radford in 1955. She then graduated from Weleetka High School.

Martha spent her life focused on her family. She was an accomplished seamstress, making all of the girls' clothes as well as her own. Other than sewing, Martha's favorite things were planning family reunions and mapping genealogy on both sides of the family.

Martha worked for V.A.B. enterprises for about 8 years before taking a job for Weleetka Public Schools as a cook, where she worked for almost 20 years before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Dunn and Stella Carter, her husband, James Pete Radford, a brother, Virgil Dunn Jr., and sister, Nancy Kendrick of Temple, Texas.

She is survived by her four daughters, Anita Foster and Scott of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Jamie Colbert and Rick of Claremore, Oklahoma; Donna Mayes and Jerry of Weleetka, Oklahoma; Cheryl Peterson and D.L., of Bode, Iowa. Grandchildren: Jarrod Ware, Jeromy Mayes, April Brown, Michael Mayes, Crystal Long, Adam Cotton and wife Crystal Cotton, Casey Colbert, Carrie Ann French and Husband Sterling French. Nine Great Grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Martha’s passion was loving the Lord with her church family and friends at The Assembly of God Church in Weleetka for over 60 years.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
