Lois Shaw Shivers passed away on December 6, 2016 in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 49, after a battle with cancer and related illness. Lois was born February 20, 1967 in Taft, California. She moved to Oklahoma in the early 1980s. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dotson. Lois leaves behind her mother, Geraldine Dotson of Calvin; her husband, James Shivers of Wewoka; her sister, Loretta Day of Gerty; daughter, Crystal Freeman and her husband, Johnny of Wetumka; son, James Shivers and his wife, Tiffany of Wewoka; seven beautiful grandchildren: Amanda, Johnny, Chloe, Johnathan, Lexis, Allison, and Joel; nieces and nephews: Amy, Billy, Megan, and Jeffery; as well as many other friends and family that loved her dearly. Anyone that ever met Lois just loved her--she was a funny and beautiful person that will be missed greatly by all that knew her. May she rest in peace with our Lord above, now pain-free.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at the Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 9 at 9:00am, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm.
