Lloyd Wayne VanZant of Wetumka left this world on September 2, 2017.

Lloyd was born October 29, 1968. He graduated from Strother High School, and served in the US Army from 1986 to 1991. After leaving the military, he attended OSU Tech in preparation for a long and successful career in the automotive industry. He was a proud dad, a doting grandpa, a loyal brother, and a trusted friend who never hesitated to help others.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his father John F. VanZant and his mother Ida Mae (Bevan) VanZant. He leaves behind his son John VanZant and wife Audrey Rutherford and grandson Kurtis VanZant of Tulsa, his son Marine CPL Nathan VanZant and wife Brentlee of the 2D MAW in New River NC, his son Army SPC Timothy VanZant of the 1ST ID in Fort Riley, KS; his brothers and sisters in law Arthur & Nancy VanZant of Harrah and Michael & Glenna VanZant of Wetumka, his sister and brother in law Clifford & Beth Mayfield of Paden; and a large number of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He touched many lives and will be missed…and we remember more than the goat.

Funeral services for Lloyd Wayne VanZant will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
