Linda Ruth (Anderson) Biffle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 78 years old.
Linda was born on May 22nd, 1948, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Mary (Sanders) Anderson. She was raised in Wetumka, where she graduated as the valedictorian of the Wetumka High School Class of 1966.On March 7th, 1967, Linda married James “Jim” Biffle. Together they began their family in Wetumka before moving to Broken Arrow in 1973, where she would live for the remainder of her life.

Later in life, Linda spent many happy years with her second husband, Jesse Hillhouse, who preceded her in death in 2006.Linda dedicated her career to serving others through her work at Rural Water District #4 before joining Bank of Oklahoma, where she worked until her retirement.
Retirement gave her the opportunity to continue serving her community as a volunteer with Broken Arrow Neighbors. She especially enjoyed helping with their book sales, sorting and organizing donated books, something she loved because reading was one of her greatest passions. She built an impressive personal library and could often be found with a good book in hand.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working in her yard and taking walks through her neighborhood. More than anything, she loved her family and was always willing to help with anything they needed. She never missed an opportunity to show up for the people she loved. She was happiest when she was caring for others.
Her homemade chocolate shakes became a family favorite and remain one of the many sweet memories her family will always cherish. She lived simple, loved well and gave freely of herself. Raised in the Church of Christ, Linda’s faith remained an important part of her life and guided the way she loved and served others.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Anderson and Mary Anderson Damron; her first husband, James “Jim” Biffle; and her second husband, Jesse Hillhouse.
