Karen Jo Srein passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 65. Born on August 15, 1959, in Seattle, Washington, she was the beloved daughter of George Srein and Dorothy Srein (née Williams).

Karen spent her early years in Seattle before moving to Wetumka, Oklahoma, in 2002. Over the years, she worked in various roles before embracing a well-deserved retirement. Known for her generous spirit, Karen cared deeply for everyone she encountered and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. A talented cook, Karen delighted in sharing her recipes and cooking for others. She also had a passion for travel and loved recounting the many adventures and stories from her journeys. Her ever-present smile and zest for life were a source of joy to those around her. Karen's greatest pride was her two cherished dogs, Titan and Bub. She also found immense joy in her daughters, Katelyn Miller of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and Elizabeth Miller of Everett, Washington.

Karen is lovingly remembered by her siblings: sisters Leslie Ivans and Katherine Crawford, and brother David Srein. She touched the lives of countless family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy; her sister, Jane; and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in Wetumka, Oklahoma, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Honoring Karen's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Following visitation, her ashes will be scattered in the rivers of Washington State to reunite with her parents and sister. May Karen's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
