John Daniel Bruner was born on September 10, 1957 to Jake Bruner and Elizabeth (Washington) Bruner in Wichita, Kansas. He passed from this life on October 10, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma.

John is preceded in death by two brothers, Jacob Mitchell Bruner and Terry Albert Bruner.

John Bruner is survived by three sons: Shane Bruner, Joseph Bruner, and Jeremy Bruner; a grandchild, Wakia Bruner; by his father, Jake Bruner; by his siblings, Paul Wayne Bruner, Robert Bruner, Jeffrey Bruner, Claudette Yost, Katherine Dreadfulwater, Regina Kay Williams, and Acee Buckner.
