Jimmy Harjo, of Wewoka, Oklahoma, passed away December 6, 2019 at the age of 64. We know it broke his parents' heart to send him off, but he was always loved and never forgotten. Now he joins them with open arms.

Jimmy was born May 12, 1955 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Waddie Harjo and Lindy (Johnson) Harjo, who both preceded him in death.

Jimmy is also preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Harjo, Sr., Willie Harjo, and Marcey Harjo; by sisters Lydie (Harjo) Blueback, Diane (Harjo) Lowe, and Eliza (Harjo) Barnett.

Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Anna Smith and husband Curtis of Wetumka, Donna Harjo of Millerville, Tennessee, and Florence Atchico of Harrah, Oklahoma; and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jimmy Harjo will be held at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in the Spradlin Memory Chapel on Monday, December 9 at 1:00pm. Rev. Herman Harjo will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tyler Barnett, Seth Barnett, Edwin Atchico, Kevin Atchico, Tommy Remis, and Harry Harjo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Harjo, Jr., Clarence Johnson, Jack Yargee, Amon Yargee, and Leonard Harjo. Jimmy Harjo will be laid to rest at Johnson Family Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka and Weleetka.
