Isaac Brighton Austin was born October 24, 2006 in Tulsa, Ok to Curtis Wayne Austin and Lawana (Polson) Austin and passed from this life as the result of a tragic incident on January 15, 2023 at the age of 16.

Isaac spent his earliest years in Dustin but as a small child he moved with his family to Weleetka. He attended Weleetka Public School where he participated in Jr. High football. He was very active in a form of martial arts known as Muay Thai and was beginning to excel in his training. He also loved to shoot guns, chase girls, go camping, and mostly just hang out with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lawana last year, his paternal grandparents Phillip and Dee Ann Austin and maternal grandparents Linda and Oscar Pigeon and Albert Fish, and an uncle James Austin.

Survivors include: his father Curtis Austin of the home in Weleetka; a sister Christine Riley of Ryal, OK; 2 brothers, Corey Austin of the home and Andrew Austin of Weleetka; along with several other relatives, which include Robert and Tennie Polson and Susie Hassan, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Weleetka First Baptist Church with Rev. Dewayne Davis officiating. Interment will be at Eli Cemetery near Wetumka, Oklahoma under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.
