Obituary

The life of Donna Lee Kline (née Rood)

Donna was born in Hanford, CA on February 6, 1939.

She married George Stanley Kline on August 3, 1957. Together they had nine children, which resulted in twenty-six grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren!

Donna, with her husband George, spent the majority of their life living in California. From Eureka in Norther California to Los Angeles, they were constantly on the move, kids in tow. It wasn't until their latter years that they came to Oklahoma. They followed their eldest daughter and finally settled in Weleetka. It wasn't long after their sojourn to Oklahoma that a few of their children moved as well.

The majority of her life was spent doting on her family. Donna loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Hardly a day would go by that she wasn't holding a little one, giving advice, and sharing her treats. She typified the true essence of the motherly matriarch.

Donna also loved gardening. It didn't matter where they lived, one could always be sure that her yard would be well loved and tended. She took great pride in her flowers, bushes and trees, which would often be the center of conversation.

Donna was an avid reader who refused to let her natural curiosity about the world around her go by the wayside. She did her best to keep herself up to date on world events, which made her a great conversationalist.

More than anything, Donna loved the Lord! She found peace in the knowledge that she would be with God when He was through with her here on Earth. Her love of family and her God is and would always be her legacy!

Donna Kline was preceded in death by her sons, David and George, and by her husband, George.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry and Tony; and by her daughters, Cynthia, Terry, Debra, Laurie and Julie.

She will be sorely missed.
