Carolyn Jean (CJ) Keefer Wood passed away unexpectedly at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 11 ^th at the age of 71. She was born in Point Pleasant, WV on January 8, 1952, to the late Earl H Keefer and Mary Louise Boston Keefer.

Carolyn grew up in Letart, WV and was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School.  She was also a graduate of Huntington School of Beauty Culture and Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Carolyn worked for many years as a supervisor in group homes and loved serving and helping others in this capacity.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Valerie Wood Baker.  Left to cherish her memory is her grandson, Clinton Baker of Oklahoma City, OK and three siblings: Chuck Keefer of Greer, SC, Jerri (Olen) Cross of Wake Forest, NC, and Patricia (Eddie) Lanham of Point Pleasant, WV and several nieces and nephews.

No funeral services are planned.  A family celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at a later date.
