Buddy Gene Baugus was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Buddy Carol and Neva Jean (Duncan) Baugus on July 19, 1966. He passed away in Texarkana, Texas on November 2, 2018.

Born and raised in Wetumka, Buddy moved to Woodward, Oklahoma as a child, and his family relocated to Kingfisher, where he attended school. Buddy worked in oil fields, like his father, and later worked trimming trees until he was injured by falling timber. Buddy then worked for a paving company laying asphalt. Most recently, Buddy had made his home in Russellville, Arkansas and then Texarkana, Arkansas.

Buddy is preceded in death by his mother.

Buddy is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Jean Baugus of Springfield, Missouri, and Hayli Kay Perdue and husband David of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; by one sister, Melissa Baugus of Wetumka, Oklahoma; by five grandchildren; four nephews; by several cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends.
