Brenda Louise Weeden was born November 4, 1954 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Kenneth Pete Wells and Bonnie (Huddleston) Wells and passed from this life August 3, 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 65.

Brenda moved as a child with her family to Stuart. She attended school there and was a graduate of Stuart High School. After graduation she moved to Norman where she worked with her brother in his landscaping and nursery operation and later at an area nursing home. She then moved to Hartshorne where she was employed by Adamson Water. It was there that she met Jerry Weeden. They were married July 7, 1991. They resided in Hartshorne and Ft. Gibson before finally settling in Eufaula.

She enjoyed home interiors and loved watching religious and other type of television programming, especially the sitcom Frasier. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Jerry, of the home; two sons, Kenny Gray and Angie Bowker and her four children of Tishomingo, and Joe Gray and wife Niki of Ada; two brothers, Larry Wells and wife Sheila of Lexington, and Mike Wells and wife Carol of Washington, OK; a sister, Donna Swanner and husband Terry of Ft. Gibson; four grandchildren, Rylee, Paisley, Piper, and Phinley; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Thursday morning, August 6, from 10:00 a.m.to noon. Graveside funeral services will then be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Wetumka Cemetery with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
