Billy Joe "Huey" Buckley, Jr. was born July 26, 1973 and he passed away on September 2, 2017.

Billy was born to Billy Joe Buckley, Sr. and Linda F. (Proctor) Buckley. His paternal grandparents were Sam and Fanny McMac Buckley, and his maternal grandparents were Hailey Proctor and Rachelle Carr Proctor. Billy had two brothers and two sisters: Johnathan Buckley, Benita Buckley, Lacey R. Buckner, and Ace Hailey Bucker. He had two sons, Josiah Buckley and Baby D Buckley.

Billy had several nices and nephews, including his great nieces Carley Buckley and Acelynn Buckner, who he loved and loved playing with. Billy was very traditional and enjoyed singing his songs and playing stickball. His other hobbies included playing softball and fishing. Billy loved baseball, and his favorite team was the New York Yankees. He graduated from high school in Hanna in 1992. He attended Seminole Junior College, Northeastern College in Miami, and then he graduated from TTCU. His major was culinary arts and he planned to open a restaurant.

Funeral services for Billy Joe Buckley, Jr. will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Dustin, Oklahoma at 1:30pm. Rev. Benny Harjo will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ty Hicks, Robert Jones, Victor Artussee, Wayland Gray, Jake Mankiller, "Wimpy" Billy, and friends and family. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Mankiller, Raymond Meely, Danny Rodriguez, Hutke Fields, and Red Hicks. Burial will follow at Hanna Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.
